Legend of Mana (Faerie Storyline)
Legend of Mana is my favorite game, not only to speed run, but to play. I don't know what draws me into this game - the story, the music, the gameplay, or maybe everything as a whole. This game will always hold a special place in my heart.
The Faerie storyline involves an internal struggle between 3 friends: Daena, Escad, and Matilda. Matilda is under a strange curse, caused by her lover Irwin, which has caused her to age rapidly. In a struggle to figure out what to do, each of the 3 friends has a different idea of what should be done. Meanwhile, Irwin plans on reviving a terrible monster to destroy the world.
This storyline includes 18/68 missions, however one is purposely failed as it needs to be started (but not completed) in order to activate a later mission.
