Dawn of Mana (New Game, Easy Difficulty, Segmented)
Dawn of Mana (aka Seiken Densetsu 4) is part of the trio of "World of Mana", which consists of Dawn, Heroes, and Children. Out of the 3, this game received the most critism, but personally I found it to be absolutely fantastic!
Dawn of Mana goes back to the origins of Mana, following a young boy named Keldric (aka Keldy) and his friend, Ritzia. Throughout the game, they battle various evil forces, all being manipulated by a dark man named Stroud.
The game is considerably different then the prior games, but I found it to be a lot of fun, thanks in part to the HAVOK engine (which is also used in games like Kingdom Hearts and Half-Life 2.
This run starts with a clean save, plays on Easy Difficulty, and segments by chapter. Clean save is needed because medal counts do have an affect on what emblems I get in the game. Easy and Normal are close, but the real difference is bosses have more HP in Normal. You don't start seeing REAL changes in difficulty until you get to hard or ultimate, but those aren't available on a clean save. Segmenting by chapter is done is to make things a bit easier.
